Keenan
Kleinsmith

Men's Team Head Coach

Keenan Kleinsmith was appointed as UM Wolves RFC’s Men’s Head Coach in June 2023. A former player and coach at semi-pro level in his native South Africa, Keenan brings a level of expertise and rugby knowledge which has helped the club’s Men’s Team break new ground.

Carmelo
Longo

Women's Team Head Coach

A very well known face in the Maltese rugby community and our longest-serving member of staff, Carmelo Longo joined UM Wolves RFC in 2018, a year after the club’s inception.  He has led the Women’s Team ever since, and he also currently serves as the Malta national Women’s coach.

Sultana Evans

Women's Team Assistant Coach

A new member of the UM Wolves RFC family, Charlotte Sultana Evans joined as the Women’s Team Assistant Coach in October 2023.  She brings with her a wealth of playing experience which has been put to good use in developing our newest generation of women’s players.

Galea

Men's Team Manager

One of the founding members of UM Wolves RFC, besides being the current President, Albert Galea continues to hold his old role of Men’s Team Manager – having held the post since April 2018.  He aims to provide the right training environment for all players to improve.

Marcus
Ciantar

Women's Team Manager

Marcus Ciantar was appointed Women’s Team Manager in June 2022 as the club aimed to give more attention. A recently qualified coach and a former player of the club in its early years, Marcus is the logistical brains behind the UM Wolves RFC Women’s Team.

Samuel
Portelli

Club Physiotherapist

Another UM Wolves RFC founding member, Samuel Portelli was appointed as Club Physiotherapist in June 2023, succeeding Andrew Camilleri in the post.  One of the most valued members of the club, he is the person who makes sure everyone is in tip-top condition.

Blundell

Men's Equipment Manager

David Blundell took up his role as Men’s Equipment Manager at the start of the 2022/23 season.  This is his second season with the Club, and his presence and work on the touchline of the Men’s Team’s matches has made him an integral cog of the Club machine.
